Pole Canyon Australian Shepherds is a small breeding program that is family owned and operated in Teton Valley, Idaho. We specialize in providing top quality AKC registered Aussies that are socialized to be your family's best friend but also represent the breed standard in quality and form. Guidelines established through research and published via "Puppy Culture" are being used to augment the puppy's future potential. Also, our combination of kids and chickens help add a little extra touch to the solid foundation of Pole Canyon puppies.
Australian Shepherds are a high energy breed that require exercise and attention. They soak up affection like rays from the sun and can't get enough love! On the flip side, they have an overflow of love to give back. An Aussie will be your best friend and protector when a relationship is established with their family. We strive to match our puppies to a family so the needs of both are met.
Australian Shepherds are not only amazing family pets but a herding dog by nature. They are highly trainable animals and are eager to please. The physical and mental qualities that make Aussies excellent work animals also create one-of-a-kind competitors in the ring. The Australian Shepherd is a frequent winner of dock diving, agility, and frisbee competitions, just to name a few.
